Bay Area Editorial/Fashion Photographer/Native American Tribal shoot

This shoot is a collaboration with Novum Crafts! I had already been following them on Instagram when they approached me to do a shoot with them! I was so honored! Daniela at Novum had me choose an Indian headdress that I wanted to shoot with. I chose a small, natural Indian feather headdress . It was VERY important to me to represent these headdresses with the utmost respect for the Native American culture. Sooooo, the stunning model in these photos (Ciera) is from the Yeron, Blackfoot and Chippewa tribes! Ciera is devoted to her heritage and practices her Native American traditions. My horse “Oliver” participated in the shoot as well. He was not particularly happy about it. The land we photographed on “Rancho Robles Lomas” aka “Chocolate Horse” is sacred land. The “Miwok” tribe lived there 150 plus years ago. Check out Novum Crafts beautiful headdresses in a variety of lovely colors and styles! Novum01
