Claire and I met before her boudoir photo shoot to discuss what style of photos she was interested in doing….I always like to meet with my clients before hand to get a sense of what their all about. Also to discuss location, wardrobe, hair & makeup etc. I find this complimentary consultation priceless. Anyhow, while chatting with Claire, I totally got her totally chill, classic California Girl style. With that gorgeous sun dipped hair and rocking’ body. She had done body building and had the abs to prove it! Hair and Makeup by Brittney Lee https://makeupbybrittneylee.com
Liza, my favorite Muse graces my website…..and why not? We have been working together for about 8 years! We inspire each other and always have fun during our photo shoots. She’s like a Russian doll complete with the Red Sparrow accent. Sorry sweetie, I still hear it! From our “Marilyn” shoot to “Gypsy Queen”, “Bandit Babe” and everything in between, here is part of our latest collaboration! Just Liza….
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Amy and Andrew’s steamy boudoir photoshoot hits the blog! Amy contacted me about a couples shoot she wanted to do as a gift for boyfriend Andrew. Although I had never done a couples boudoir photo shoot, I had plenty of experience with couples and boudoir. Just not together. We gathered inspiration from Pinterest and other social media sites to come up with an original session. The couple was photographed both in my home/studio and on location in Petaluma. Check out their matching Cartier bracelets!
So many times during my boudoir photo shoots, I hear ladies saying they are doing a boudoir photoshoot is to make them feel and look beautiful. Feel like a WOMAN!!!! In this rat race we call life these days, there is just not enough time to look and feel like a sexy, desirable woman. Add kids to that and your lucky to brush your teeth and comb your hair before walking out the door. Beautiful Alice, pictured below is the mother of seven children!!! Yes, that’s right…..SEVEN! My hat is off to this courageous lady. Actually, she handles it beautifully and has A GREAT sense of humor. If anyone needs a time out to feel and look super hot, it’s a woman with kids…..
The plan was set in motion……Jessica wanted to do a special boudoir editorial shoot with her boyfriend’s other love, his Mustang! Don’t ask me what year it is, I’m a girl, come on. She had made up an excuse for having to have it on the day we had scheduled the shoot and getting it away from her boyfriend was no easy task. The forecast was calling for rain but I was keeping my fingers crossed! Jessica was photographed at Bloomfield Farm and THANK GOD, they had a barn we were able to pull the car into and stay dry, at least for a while. We did make it up to a wispy knoll and then it began to rain! Not to hard, just a little bit. We decided to go with it and get a little wet, and those are my favorites. A little wet and wild. Jessica’s AMAZING shoes are all Louboutin’s! The white faux fur is “For Love and Lemons”
Devin and I met while she was working as a barista and going to school at the Academy of Art in San Francisco! I was thrilled to work with this exotic beauty! This photo shoot was for her modeling portfolio with a strong boudoir influence. The styling is modern and classic using several outfits from “For Love and Lemons” “Burberry” and vintage items. My favorite piece has to be the black velvet high waisted skivvies from “For Love and Lemons”. Devin looked AMAZING in them!
This shoot is a collaboration with Novum Crafts! I had already been following them on Instagram when they approached me to do a shoot with them! I was so honored! Daniela at Novum had me choose an Indian headdress that I wanted to shoot with. I chose a small, natural Indian feather headdress . It was VERY important to me to represent these headdresses with the utmost respect for the Native American culture. Sooooo, the stunning model in these photos (Ciera) is from the Yeron, Blackfoot and Chippewa tribes! Ciera is devoted to her heritage and practices her Native American traditions. My horse “Oliver” participated in the shoot as well. He was not particularly happy about it. The land we photographed on “Rancho Robles Lomas” aka “Chocolate Horse” is sacred land. The “Miwok” tribe lived there 150 plus years ago. Check out Novum Crafts beautiful headdresses in a variety of lovely colors and styles!
Beautiful Sarah embodies the perfect retro, pin-up girl! With her luminous alabaster skin and rocking’ red hair, big blue eyes and retro wardrobe, Sarah was so much fun to photograph!!! If your thinking a doing a boudoir shoot with a certain look, I always recommend meeting for a consultation to discuss all the little details to make the photos extraordinary!
It’s that time of year again……Love is in the air and here’s a fun love story!
Mary and Mac met years ago when she was a Playboy Bunny at the Lake Geneva, WIS Club ( home of many Chicago mobsters in the early days) and Mac an Airman in the Air Force! WAY TO GO MAR!!!! But the timing wasn’t right, and sadly they parted ways. Years later in a parking lot of all places, they happened to run into each other! Mary, now very successful in real estate and Mac, a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force! They reconnected but sadly Mac was sent as a private defense contractor to run the Efforts in Kuwait as chief of the El Mubarek AFB….(32 years of service to our country so far!) They are continuing there relationship, long distance. Mary in the Bay Area and Mac in Kuwait. To keep that flame hot, Mary did a photoshoot with me! I photographed her in the studio and on location on Sonoma Mountain. The outdoor photos focus on the outdoor lifestyle the two like to share. I loved working with this outgoing and beautiful woman! I designed a book for her to give to Mac for Christmas! Well…….It was a hit! Below is an email I received from Mary.
According to Mac….you are the official favorite photog of El Mubarek AFB in Kuwait….Hahahahah…the men there saw the book you made for me on top of Mac’s Christmas box the day it arrived at his office and he went out to a hanger to tend to something and when he came back he said there were no less than 10 airmen sitting in his office…A lieutenant said ” Fuck Col Mac, we’ve got a whole new level of respect for you now…how the hell did you ever a get a woman like that …IS SHE BLIND???”
April’s super sexy photo shoot is a Valentine’s gift for her husband…. This gorgeous woman is one hot mama to 4 girls! This session was shot in the studio with a combination of natural light and studio strobe lights. April’s hair & makeup was done to perfection by Michelle at “Essence Hair Studio”. The wardrobe was simple and classic with a selection of lovely bras and panties, pearls, torn jeans, heels and stockings. I like to shoot a combination of beauty and artistic images during my boudoir sessions. To add a little more fun to this session, April wore athletic apparel from her hubby’s favorite college football team! I’m sure her man will LOVE all of them!
